G.V. Reddy was honoured for his work in the Ranthambhore Tiger Reserve. Courageous, committed, honest and totally dedicated, in three years, he has been directly responsible for the recovery of Ranthambhore and its tigers. He took on poaching gangs, redoubled efforts to protect tiger ranges, stopped illegal grazing and inspired his team by leading from the front.
