Kids for Tigers
In 1999, Sanctuary began to tell Indian children stories of how saving the tiger saved entire ecosystems, and in return the forests now filter and feed over 600 rivers with pure water and stabilise our wobbly climate in the process.

The Tiger swiftly evaded the crocodile: “On an afternoon drive in Ranthambhore in September 2020, we heard loud squeals echoing through the forest. On a distant lake bank, we saw that a young tiger had caught a wild pig! Drawn to these sounds, a crocodile waded out of the lake and approached the struggling pair, snapping its jaw menacingly! The tiger swiftly evaded the crocodile, still gripping the wild pig’s neck and began dragging it away into the tall grass away from the the croc. The wild pig’s squeals gradually died down, and the crocodile chose to lay basking casually in the sun. But for us, this was an exciting, hair raising encounter!”

Anuradha Marwah is an award-winning photographer and author whose work has been displayed at prestigious national and international exhibitions such as The Citadel of Namur, Belgium, Golden Orchid International Art festival, New York, and UNESCO to name a few.
