Elephant: “An evening safari in the Corbett National Park means a chance to see elephant herds crossing the Ramganga river. This particular evening, in addition to the herd of elephants, we spotted a tigress resting on the opposite river bank! The herd moved on, grazing along its regular path, and crossed the river through the tall grasses. Just then a playful juvenile elephant broke away from the group, to frolic in the water, oblivious to the potential threat! Quickly, an adult elephant moved purposefully towards the water, eliciting an angry response from the tiger.”
